Benjamin Zendel

Dr. Benjamin Zendel holds a Canada Research Chair in Aging and Auditory Neuroscience, and is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Dr. Zendel completed his undergraduate in Psychology at the University of Calgary, earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and held a post-doctoral fellowship at the International Laboratory for Brain Music and Sound Research (BRAMS) at Université de Montréal. His research is focused on the intersection of music, aging, neuroscience and hearing. He has published over 30 refereed articles on these topics, and has received grant support from NSERC, CIHR, SSHRC, and the Grammy Foundation.
