Louise A. Montoya, M.A., LPC, ACS, CSC, is a child and family therapist, and coordinator of the Family Wellness Service of The Center for Childhood Communication at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She was the Program Administrator and a researcher for the Deafness and Family Communication Center at Children’s Hospital, a mental health therapist and researcher with the Center for Abused Children with Disabilities at Boystown National Research Hospital, an Executive Director for the El Paso Center of the Deaf, and the founding Executive Director of Deaf Independent Living Association in Maryland. Louise has several family members with hearing differences.
