Susan graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 1987. She began practicing in the area of neurological rehabilitation and pursued post graduate training in Vestibular Rehab in 1997. She began a collaborative approach working with neurologists and ENTs in the development of a Vestibular Rehab Program. She partnered with Steven MacNeil in 2008 to open the Atlantic Balance and Dizziness Centre – a Physiotherapy clinic specializing in the treatment of neurological and vestibular disorders. She obtained an Advanced Competency in Vestibular Rehab from Emory University in 2010. She is a guest lecturer at Dalhousie University in the areas of Vestibular Rehab and Multiple Sclerosis.
