Wireless technology can be used across the lifespan for persons with hearing loss and with normal
hearing. Benefits of wireless technology are evident in education, employment, leisure activities, and into senior living. Regardless of the age, there is a wireless configuration that can provide significant benefit. Recently the options for digital modulation (DM) wireless technology has expanded. Research has shown significant benefits of DM arrangements over the traditional FM devices. It is likely that with DM technology combined with speech-reading cues, listeners will be able to engage in communication in environments that would otherwise have not been possible.
