
Christiane graduated with a Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania, USA, in 2015. She is a registered audiologist and hearing instrument practitioner with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia and is certified in cerumen management. She worked as a clinical audiologist in Brazil for five years before moving to Vancouver, BC, in 2007 to join Connect Hearing.
At Connect Hearing, Christiane held various roles, including maintaining a clinical practice while serving as an Audiology and Medicalization Business Advisor, overseeing professional practices, standards, and ethics across clinics in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
In February 2025, Christiane joined WSAudiology as the Audiology Support and Development Manager for the Western Region of Canada, where she continues to support excellence in audiological care and professional development.
She served as a Clinical Educator in the Master of Audiology program at the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at UBC for eight years before being promoted to Clinical Assistant Professor in July 2019. In 2024, she joined the examiner team for the Hearing Instrument Practitioner practicum exam with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
