Simon Pawlowski

Simon Pawlowski received a BSc and MSc in Biology from Acadia University and worked across Canada as an entomologist for several years. He then returned to Nova Scotia (Mi’kma’ki) where he obtained his MSc in Audiology from Dalhousie University. He was recognized at Dalhousie for his academic and clinical skills with several awards including the Killam Predoctoral Scholarship, the Canadian Institute for Health Research Master’s Scholarship, Speech & Audiology Canada’s Research Award, and Hearing & Speech Nova Scotia’s Mencher Scholarship. Simon works in the private sector as a clinical/dispensing audiologist with East Coast Hearing, is an adjunct professor with Dalhousie University’s School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, and works collaboratively with otolaryngology to optimize patient care. Simon has a passion for the field of audiology and the utilization of audiological skills and knowledge to continuously advance scope of practice, primary care, and in-clinic/in-classroom pedagogy.
