Tara Collins is a registered clinical audiologist in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Tara completed her B.Sc. (Molecular Biology/Genetics – Honours) at the University of British Columbia and her M.Sc. (Audiology) at Dalhousie University. Her interest in audiology grew from her own extremely positive experience obtaining hearing aids while at UBC, after many years with untreated, progressive hearing loss. She worked briefly as an audiologist at the Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Centres in Halifax before returning to her hometown Saskatoon, where she worked for 8 years for the Health Region (now SK Health Authority) as an audiologist at the Saskatoon Hearing Aid Plan. Currently, she owns and operates Saskatoon Hearing & Audiology Clinic where she focuses on amplification, rehabilitation, and helping others get the most benefit from their hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
