Carrie Nieman

Dr. Carrie Nieman is an Associate Professor in the Division of Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery in the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She is Core Faculty at the Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Principal Faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Center for Innovative Care in Aging. Her research is directed at understanding and addressing hearing health disparities among older adults, particularly vulnerable populations. Dr. Nieman’s work focuses on the development and implementation of innovative, community-delivered approached to affordable, accessible hearing care.
