Danielle Glista, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, an Associate member of the National Centre for Audiology, and the Director of the Connected Hearing Healthcare Lab at Western University, London, ON, Canada. Her recent research efforts have focused on technology-enabled hearing healthcare and the integration of complex health solutions into practice using collaborative care models. Dr. Glista’s person-centered approach involves interdisciplinary teams and mixed methods research to engage clinicians, patients, families, and community/industry partners. Current projects, employing human-centered design, aim to enhance the clinical implementation of virtual care services, mHealth apps, and real-world assessment tools. Dr. Glista is also part of an interdisciplinary research team exploring readiness factors and developing curricula to integrate audiologists and speech-language pathologists into team-based primary care.
