Erik Jorgensen, AuD, PhD, is an audiologist and assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He directs the Soundscape and Audiology Research Lab, where he uses virtual environments in the lab and data collection in the real world to characterize how hearing loss and the acoustic environments listeners experience in daily life affect and are affected by audiologic interventions.
