Dr. Lin is an otologic surgeon and Professor and Director of the Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. His mission is to improve public health through changing how people understand and are enabled to optimize their hearing across their lifetimes. These efforts have included establishing the impact of hearing and hearing interventions on cognitive and other health outcomes, enactment of the U.S. Over-the-Counter Hearing Aid Act, and launching the Hearing Number initiative.
