Dr. Frederick K. Kozak is the senior member of the division of Pediatric Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at BC Children’s Hospital, with a focus on Pediatric Otology. He is the Medical/Surgical Director of BC Children’s Hospital Cochlear Implant Program and the former Head of the Division (1996-2018). Dr. Kozak is Past President of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology Head-Neck Surgery (2018-2019)
He has been the Residency Training Program Director for Otl-HNS at the University of British Columbia since 2012. He has served on over thirty committees at BC Children’s Hospital including Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee.
Outside of BCCH and UBC, he continues to consult and serve on various medically related government and Doctors of BC committees. For fun he has started a sock company (www.drsox.ca), his baritone voice is known to bring some audiences to their feet and he has enjoyed numerous trips around the world with his wife and close friends on his road bike.
Dr. Kozak plans to slow down the summer of 2024.
