Kathy Pichora-Fuller is a Full Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto. She completed a BA (UofT, 1977) and a MSc. in Audiology and Speech Sciences (UBC, 1980). She was the Audiology Supervisor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and then completed a PhD in Psychology at UofT (1991). Until 2002, she was a professor in Audiology and Speech Sciences at UBC. She co-chaired the Eriksholm Workshop on “Hearing Impairment and Cognitive Energy” that resulted in the consensus on the Framework on Understanding Effortful Listening (FUEL) published as a special issue of Ear and Hearing in July 2016.
