Kia Noelle Johnson

Kia Noelle Johnson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is the Associate Director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research Satellite in Atlanta, Georgia through the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Johnson specializes in developmental stuttering with a focus on culturally diverse populations. She is also a growing leader in providing presentations and facilitating workshops on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical and professional settings.  She has contributed service to the profession through several volunteer roles and has mentored countless undergraduate and graduate students within the profession. Dr. Johnson is a past member of the ASHA Board of Directors and past National Advisor to the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.  She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing and is a member of the ASHA Board of Ethics.
