Pierre Bourez

Pierre is a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation Sciences at Université Laval in Québec. His doctoral research focuses on individuals who are particularly vulnerable to noise, including those with hearing disorders, tinnitus, and hyperacusis. He aims to develop objective and tailored assessment tools to measure the detrimental effects of noise and to evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation strategies, with the ultimate goal of better addressing the needs of these specific populations. In parallel with his research, he regularly delivers training sessions in France for hearing aid specialists on the clinical management of tinnitus.
