Mobile technologies are increasingly being recognized as valuable tools benefitting person-centred care and treatment personalization; however, literature has mainly focused on adult users. This presentation will highlight emerging research around the use of real-world assessment and management tools to support children and adolescents who wear hearing aids. Opportunities and challenges related to the use of real-world audiological tools will be discussed within the context of collaborative care models. Discussion will highlight the human-centred design solutions and the importance of integrating a diverse range of perspectives in the development and evaluation of child-focused mobile health tools in hearing care.
